Remote power supply unit RPU-700
RPU-700 is a current generator and is designed to power remotely the regenerator modules of Stream-2 and Channel-T equipment during “wire-to-wire” operation.
The device is designed to operate both within Data Communication Equipment Station Set “Stream-2” and “Channel-T”, with remote power supply of the regenerator modules from the communication center, and as part of line station equipment, with additional power insertion.
- The main and backup RPS sources have a single 3U 19” design;
- Automatic switching from the main RPS source to the backup one in the event of its failure;
- The integrated diagnostic system allows to control the device operation from the communication center using a PC.
- The capability of remote switching the RPS source on and off from the communication center for line works. This feature can be blocked.
